William “Bill” Burki, 82, of East Troy, died Jan. 13, 2017, in Elkhorn. He was born to William and Erna in Footville.
He attended school in Caldwell and settled in East Troy as he worked at Trent Tube for 40 years after serving in the U.S. Air Force.
While in East Troy Bill was a volunteer firefighter/EMT for 20 years, a Boy Scout leader for Troop 92 for 10 years, and an avid woodworker.
Survivors include his children Cindy, Houston, Texas, Bill (Pam), East Troy, and Niki, East Troy; stepchildren Karen (Vito) Erickson-Marconi, Rhinelander, Jim (Beth) Erickson, Aldie, Va., Janet Herrick (Erickson). East Troy; and 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob, Al and Larry; sisters, Delores and Lorraine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; and sisters, Jeanette and Joyce.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
