Alice Maud Hand, 92, of Delavan, died at Willowfield Nursing Home on Dec. 28, 2016.
She was born April 20, 1924, on the Bowers Road family farm in Walworth County to Harry Ames and Vertibelle Yarrington.
She married Donald Hand in Iowa on May 11, 1959. Donald preceded her in death in February 2009. She worked at Borg Instruments in Delavan for 50 years. She was a member of Como Community Church. She was dearly loved by all her caregivers at Willowfield Nursing Home and her devoted family.
She is survived by a son, Dennis (Cynthia) DeVoy of Delavan; five grandchildren and two great-grandchldren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Como Community Church with the Rev. Robert Kamps officiating. Burial will follow in North Geneva Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. A reception will follow the burial services at the church.
