Kay R. Kashuta, 70, of Delavan, died Dec. 23, 2016, at home in Delavan surrounded by her family.
She was born in St. Louis on Dec. 20, 1946, to Dwight and Quorine (Berry) Imhof. She married David A. Kashuta on April 1, 1972. She worked for many years as a seamstress. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved to golf, dance and laugh. She was known to be a jokester and always put everyone above herself. Her family, faith and future hope were the closest things to her heart. But above all she loved her God, Jehovah.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David; four children, Deena (Tim) Boviall, of Delavan, Jolie (Armando) Porras, of Elkhorn, Leanya Kashuta, of Delavan, and Adia (Jacob) Meza, of Delavan; six grandchildren, Nathan, Cody, Ilias, Logan, Jamin and Sienna; a sister, Gail (George) Garcia, of Rock Springs, Wyo.; a niece, Hilary; a nephew, Jim; a sister-in-law, Mary Hemingway; and her mother-in-law, Catherine Kashuta.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Mark and Steve; and two nieces, Ammie and Denise.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 327 E. Remer Road in Elkhorn. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at Kingdom Hall.
