Dennis A. “Sumo” Phelps, 47, of Delavan, died Dec. 19, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
He was born Aug. 3, 1969. He is survived by a sister, Cindy Essington, of Pell Lake; two brothers, David (Jennifer) Burdick, of Elkhorn, and Jeremiah Burdick, of Delavan; four nieces, Lily, Makayla, Abigail and Emalee; and six nephews, Jeremiah Jr., Danny, Wyatt, Waylon, Kayden and Noah.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Burdick; and grandmother, Marion.
Memorial and visitation services were Thursday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva St. in Delavan with the Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating.
Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
