Harlo A. Anderson, 92, of Lake Geneva, died Dec. 2, 2016, at the Kindred Hearts of Elkhorn.
He was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Osseo, the son of Halmer and Myrtle Myren Anderson. He married Nadine Graves on June 5, 1949, in Lone Star, Texas.
She preceded him in death Feb. 19, 2015. The two things he was very proud of were serving his country by serving in the Army during World War II and being a Green Bay Packer fan. He was employed by Trostels Packing Co. for 36 years, retiring in 1992.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Rossmiller, of Elkhorn, and Judy (Martin) Ehlen, of Shawno; and a son, Charles (Helen) Anderson, of Walworth; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Jeanette Madison, of Pipeline, Minn.; and two brothers, Marlin Anderson, of Florida, and Richard (Ruth) Anderson, of Augusta. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Pat Lois; two sisters, Janice Smith and Grace Anderson; and two brothers, Marshall and Gerald Anderson.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, with the Rev. Bob Kamps, of the Como Community Church, officiating. Internment will be at the Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Delavan. Visitation will be from noon to the time of the service.
