Paul F. Weckel, 59, of Delavan, died Nov. 13, 2016, at UW Hospital in Madison.
He was born in West Chicago, Ill., Feb. 15, 1957, to Carl and Elizabeth (Rectenwald) Weckel. Paul was united in marriage to Linda Bettinger Dec. 29, 1983, in Lake Tahoe. He worked for over 30 years for the City of Delavan.
Paul is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda; two sisters, Mary Coleman and Carol Fergurson; four brothers, Carl (Gail) Weckel, Rick (Chris) Weckel, Tom (Peggy) Weckel, and Kevin (Carla) Sandon; brothers-in-law, Michael (Anita) Bettinger, John (Lek) Bettinger, and Jim (Karen) Bettinger; sister-in-law, Laurie Bettinger; father-in-law, Clem Bettinger; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; a step-father, John Sandon; mothers-in-law, Lois Lohr and Judy Bettinger; and sister-in-law, Sandra Bettinger.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 212 S. Main Street in Delavan with the Rev. Betsy Perkins officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Memorials can be directed to Paul’s family, which will be given to charities in the community.
