Roy Ernest Duerig, 52, of Darien, died Oct. 22, 2016, with his family by his side.
Roy was the beloved husband of Francine (nee Cecchini); loving father of Nataline and Nicholas; dearest son of Ernest and Magdalena Duerig; dear brother of Eric (Joan) Duerig; son-in-law to the late Ralph Cecchini (Wanda); and dear uncle and cousin to many.
Roy studied culinary cuisine in Europe for eight years and was an employee of Gonnella Baking Company for 20 years. A private memorial service will take place at Luther Memorial Church in Delavan.
