Harley L. Seuser, 89, died Oct. 21, 2016, at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.
He was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Albert Lea, Minn., to Harley and Maxine (Wiele) Seuser. He married Charlotte Carlson in 1946, and they had four children together. He married Dorothy Korstad on Sept. 19, 1972, in Williams Bay. Harley worked for many years at Sentry Foods in Twin Lakes. He was an outdoorsman, National Rifle Association member and avid movie watcher.
Harley is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (David) Loft, of Delavan, and Mary (Joseph) Dempsey, of Florida; two sons, Jon (Janice) Seuser, of Elkhorn, and Jeffrey Scott (Sue) Seuser, of Delavan; two step-daughters, Diane (Leo) Wojcik, of Delavan, and Lynda Fischer, of McFarland; three step-sons, David (Joan) Doolittle, of Lewisville, N.C., Michael (Dreama) Doolittle, of Coatsville, Ind., and Steven (Lisa) Doolittle, of Bloomington, Minn.; a sister, Shirley (Don) Hayes, of Florida; five grandchildren, Chris, Dan, Zack, Jamison and Ian; 14 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Vivian Seuser; and many great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; his parents; a brother, Don Seuser; and a step-son, Edward Doolittle.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Hazel Ridge Cemetery in Elkhorn.
