Nedra (Burks) Taylor, 69, died Aug. 26, 2016. She was born June 16, 1947, in Mississippi and moved to East Troy when she was 3 years old.
She attended East Troy schools and was a graduate of East Troy High School.
She married her late husband of 50 years, James Taylor, at St. James United Methodist Church, East Troy.
She was fond of reading, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the president of the Elkhorn Travel Club, a volunteer in the WIC program and the Vision group in Elkhorn.
Survivors include her daughters, Alisha (Steve) Taylor, Sarah (Steve) Alexander and Carmen (Troy) Gruener; grandchildren, Caden and Mekenna Alexander, Alex, Cody, Jessica and Caitlyn Gruener; other relatives and many friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Chuck Taylor.
Services will be at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, at Harvest Point Church, 209 S. Fourth St., Delavan.
