James (Jim) Gosso, 86, died July 27, 2016.
He was born in Elkhorn Feb. 6, 1930. He graduated from Darien High School in 1948 and Wisconsin State College-Whitewater in 1952. He married Jeannine Stuessy Aug. 10 of the same year. They lived in Walworth for many years where he was a teacher, principal and coach. They moved to Loveland, Colo., in 1989 following retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannine; daughters, Denise (Dave) Duesterbeck and Kim (Rich) Laue; grandsons Ryan (Natalie) Schroeder, Brad (Kristin) Schroeder, Zach (Jessica) Laue and Brock Laue; great grandchildren, Trenton, Christopher, Jailyn, Taiya, Tatum and Kendall and nieces, Jackie Cook and Paula Essig.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Gladys; and brother, Paul.
A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Loveland, Colo., with a reception to follow at the church.
