Leobarda Avila Bonilla, 86, of Delavan, died at her home July 3, 2016, with her family surrounding her.
She was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Mexico to Cristobal Aranda and Francisca Avila. She was a homemaker, taking care of her nine children. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
She is survived by eight children, Maria, Jose, Petra, Elana, Antonia, Angelina, Roberto and Rosalba; two brothers, Alfredo and Marcelino; 21 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church with the Rev. Oriol Regales officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Betzer Funeral Home in Delavan.
