Cheryl Mae Cushman, 71, of Delavan, formerly of Belmont, died May 8, 2016, peacefully in her home surrounded by family.
She was born Nov. 10, 1944, in Platteville, to Cletus and Vera (Nicholas) Cushman. She graduated from Belmont High School. She married Doug Speth on July 6, 1963, in Belmont. They were blessed with three children and seven grandchildren. She worked at Aurora Health Center for 14 years. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Cubs, Bears and Badgers. Her family was the light of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her brothers, Jerome Cushman (Fred Nuernberg), Nick (Marilyn) Cushman; her children, Marty (Maria) Speth, of Delavan, Shari (Jack) Wedig, of Belmont, Andrea (James) Krahn, of Richland Center; and her grandchildren, Jennah, Jaida, Jasmin, Tyler, Jordin, Audrey and Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Constance Foley.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva St. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church Saturday.
