Stephen T. Murrin, 59, of Williams Bay, died April 30, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 24, 1957, in Chicago, to Edward T. and Marian Esbrook Murrin. He married Darlene K. Berhow on Nov. 24, 1979, in Las Vegas. He was a member of the fraternal order of the Chicago Police Department. He was employed as a detective for the Chicago Police Department for 23 years and retired May 15, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; daughter, Heather (Richard) Gernhofer, of Chicago; sons, Thomas and Michael Murrin, of Chicago; grandchildren, Madison Murrin, Bradley and Caylee Gernhofer; sister, Patricia (Herman) Miller, of Palatine, Ill., and a brother, Edward (Judy) Murrin, of Peoria, Ariz. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will take place at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Steinke Funeral Home with the Rev. Dominic Thomas of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Fontana officiating. Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. until the time of services on Wednesday.
