LOUBELLE A. NAFZIGER

1998_AlbertOrder_0067      LouBelle Ann Nafziger (Rupp) was born in to eternal life March 13, 2016, at Oak Creek Place in South Milwaukee.

She was born in Bloomington/Normal, Ill., July 3, 1922, the daughter of Eldon and LouBelle (McKay) Rupp and Goldie (Tosh) Rupp. She attended Illinois State University majoring in Music and English.

She married Victor Vyrl Nafziger Feb. 1, 1941 in Normal, Ill. They fulfilled their dream of owning farms in Tremont, Ill., and Elkhorn.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria (John) Albert. She is further survived by grandchildren, Michael (Marie-Eve) Albert, of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada, Paul Albert, of New York, Katharine Albert of Sacramento, Calif., James Albert, of Bend, Ore., Matthew (Shauna) Nafziger of Dallas, Andrea Christian of Lake Geneva, and Jeremy (Rachelle) Nafziger, of Lake Geneva; her great grandchildren Adelie, Elianna, Christian, Madison, Bailey, Oliver and Etta; her brother Jonathon (Jean) Rupp, of Goshen, Ind.; her sister-in-law, Lila Nafziger of Arizona; and by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor; sons, Steven, of New Haven, Conn., Timothy, of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, and brothers, Eldon (Norma) Rupp and Gerald (Phyllis) Rupp.

A burial ceremony will take place at a later date at Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery in Hopedale, Ill., with her husband and son, Steven.

The family wishes to offer a special thank you to Dr. Christopher Sobczak and Amanda Clarke-Krause, NP through Froedtert/MCW over the years, to the caring staff at Oak Creek Place for the care they provided Lou and to Gentiva Hospice, especially Rhonda, Nicole, and Tasha, these past several weeks.

Memorials may be sent to Grace Church, 3626 Highway 31, Racine, WI 53405 for the Guatemala Medical/Dental Mission Trip ministry.

    I worked with Lou Ann at Godfrey Law Firm. All I can say is that she was a wonderful woman and I loved her very much. Sorry for your loss, Vicky.
