Ralph Calvin Langdok, 84, of Whitewater, and formerly Belleville, died Feb. 22, 2016, at home with family by his side.
He was born Aug. 23, 1931, in Rhinelander, to Gilman and Clara (Anderson) Langdok. Ralph served in the United States Army as a radio operator from 1948 to 1952 serving in occupied Japan after WWII and also during the Korean War.
On June 24, 1961, Ralph was united in marriage to Sharon Bedessem. He worked as a supervisor for Deltown and later Anderson Custom Processing in Belleville, from where he retired. He was a member of the Duppler-Smith American Legion Post #460 in Belleville. He will forever live in peace and our memories as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Ralph is survived by his daughter, Susan (Richard) Kaja, of Whitewater; son, Calvin Langdok, of Madison; grandchildren, Emma and Austin Kaja; brothers, Ronald Langdok, of Janesville, Lavern Langdok, of Janesville and Kenneth Langdok, of Gleason; sisters, Gail Vinney, of McFarland, and Diane (Jim) Donahue, of New Glarus; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sharon of 51 years.
Funeral services will be at noon, Friday, Feb. 26, at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with the Rev. Susan Greenler officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Paoli Cemetery. A visitation will precede the funeral from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
