Evelyn C. Mehren, 99, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Whitewater, died Feb. 4, 2016, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.
She was born April 10, 1916, in West Salem, to Albert and Nora (Bergum) Olson. She married Arthur K. Mehren Jan. 30, 1937, in LaCrosse.
Evelyn was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Whitewater before moving to Fond du Lac.
She is survived by two daughters, LaVonne E. (Bonnie) Coleman, of Whitewater and Geraldine E. (Gerrie) Mehren, of Antigo; three granddaughters: Michele D. Rutzen, Nora C. (Howard) Kyle and Martha J. (Brandon) Beecroft; three grandsons: Michael P. (Kris) Coleman, Arthur M. (Sarah) Coleman and James A. Coleman; six great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sons.
Graveside services were Feb. 13 at Calvary Cemetery in Whitewater.
