Marilyn L. Meiller, 80, of Lake Geneva and formerly of Elkhorn, died Feb. 6, 2016, at Village Glen of Lake Geneva. She was born Nov. 4, 1935, in Milwaukee, to the late Donald James and Miriam Ruth (Anderson) McKelvey.
She married Donald Elmer Meiller on Aug. 9, 1958, in West Allis. He died June 24, 1973.
She was an elementary teacher for more than 40 years, retiring from East Troy Community Schools in 2000.
She was a member of the East Troy Bible Church, Awana Club Leader, member of the National and Wisconsin Education Association.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved shelties. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by her family.
Survivors include her children, Richard Meiller, Lake Geneva, and Ronda (Robbie) Crum, Elkhorn; grandchildren, Laura (Thomas) Barton, Sara Meiller, Madeline (Chris Bornhuetter) Crum and Timothy Crum; great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Kasanndra and Kali Krogh, Julie and Tommy Barton; siblings, Charlotte (Lester) West, Whitewater, Patricia Pittenger, Kingwood, Texas, James (Elaine) McKelvey, Ooltewah, Tenn., John (Karin) McKelvey, Fort Atkinson, and Donna (Gerald) Hoffman, Mukwonago; and by a host of other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Rodney Meiller, and a brother-in-law, Clarke Pittenger.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 13, at the East Troy Bible Church, 2660 North St., East Troy, with the Rev. Ron Christenson officiating. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. at Round Prairie Cemetery, Highway 12, La Grange. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
