Roger Scott Kasal, 63, of Chateau Place Whitefish Bay, died unexpectedly Dec. 16, 2015, at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1952, in Milwaukee, the son of the late DuWayne and Patricia (LaPorte) Kasal. He graduated from Nicolette High School with the Class of 1970 and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1974 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Archaeology. He worked for the Brigham Young University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Austin University throughout his career.
He was united in marriage to Mary C. Slattery on Sept. 12, 1997, in Milwaukee. He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan, animal lover, especially cats, and was a collector of designer knives. He was a loving and devoted husband who will be deeply missed by his wife of 18 years, Mary; two sisters, Patricia (Peter) Lunde, of Madison, and Cindy (Peter) Shepard, of Cedarburg; one brother, Joseph Kasal, of Milwaukee; niece, and nephew, Natasha and Steve Shepard.
Private family funeral service will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals 424 East 92nd Street New York, NY 10128.
