Bonnie Bertha Smith, 89, of Lake Geneva, and formerly of Genoa City, died Dec. 15, 2015, at Artisian Assisted Living. She was born on Feb. 12, 1926, in Lafayette Township, to the late Glen and Hattie Rohda Christison.
She has been a lifelong resident of Walworth County. On July 23, 1949 in Lafayette Township.
She married Charles Smith.
She attended dress-designing school after high school. She worked as a seamstress for Kohn and Allen Store in Lake Geneva and then as a receptionist for Dr. Gaylord Culp in Lake Geneva. She was an active member of the Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay.
She enjoyed sewing and painting. She was active in the Walworth County 4H program.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Charles, Lake Geneva; daughters, Pamela Smith, Kokomo, Ind., and Donna (David) Kriofsky, Lake Geneva.
She was further preceded in death by her sisters, Betty and Bernice, and brothers, LeRoy and Harvey.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Calvary Community Church, N2620 Harris Road, Lake Geneva, with Pastor Chuck Cervenka officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
