Carl Duane Mullis, 79, of Delavan, died at Lakeland Health Care Center on Nov. 26, 2015.
He was born Jan. 3, 1936, in Illinois to Fred Mullis and Hazel Poulter. He married Lora Andersen on May 12, 1956, in Delavan. She preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 2010.
He worked for the Village of Fontana for more than 30 years with the street department. He enjoyed farming, construction and spending time camping with his wife.
He is survived by two sons, Rick (Kelly) Mullis, and Brian (Rita) Mullis, both of Walworth, and a sister, Helen, of Delavan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a sister, Phyllis, and brothers, Bob, Dan and Bill.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Spring Grove Cemetery. After the services, friends are invited to the American Legion Hall for lunch and reminiscing with the family. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Clifford Poplar, his staff and the staff at Lakeland Health Care Center for their dedication and care of Carl.
