Margaret “Smokey” Mae Adele Grabow, 63, died Nov. 7, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Janesville.
She was born Nov. 5, 1952, to the late John and Mary A. (Ketchum) Wagner in Chicago. Margaret married John Robert Grabow on Nov. 23, 1968, in Wauconda, Ill. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 2004.
Margaret loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was employed at Synerject in Delavan for the last 11 years. Margaret was also a caregiver and guardian of her sister, Amy, for the last 34 years. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, all animals and spoiling her children’s dogs. She will be remembered as a shy, quiet and caring friend to all.
She is survived by a daughter, Meg (Kevin) Logterman; two sons, Robert (Emily) Grabow and John Grabow; two grandchildren, Hannah and Cody Logterman; three sisters, Mary Wagner, Amy Shrove and Barb Fann; and a brother, Teddy (Sue) Shrove.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother, Danny Shrove.
Memorial service was Friday at the Brian G. Mark Funeral Home, 504 Milwaukee Road, Clinton, with the Rev. Thomas G. Groth officiating.
