Carol L. Price, 87, of East Troy, died Oct 21, 2015, at Lakeland Health Care Center, Elkhorn. She was born June 7, 1928, to the late Julius and Clara (Schmidt) Dorn in Elkhorn.
She spent her childhood in Elkhorn and attended and graduated from Elkhorn High School.
She married her late husband of 52 years, Robert, and lived on the Price farm until 1964 when they moved to the current homestead in East Troy, were they raised 10 children.
She was a member of St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Church Ladies Aide and choir.
She spent 25 plus years driving school bus for East Troy, taking students to and from school and various sporting events.
Her quiet time was filled with knitting, sewing and crocheting. She was also known for her quick wit and one-liners.
Survivors include her children. David, Alma, Dan, East Troy, Cathy, Burlington, William “Bill,” East Troy, Heidi Pluess, East Troy, Carl (Sarah), East Troy, Dean, Charleston, Ind., Theodore “Ted,” East Troy, and daughter-in-law Mary Walbrandt, Elkhorn; grandchildren, Patrick, Matt, Samantha, Adam, Joe, Marisa, Justin, Toni, Jared, Brennan, Kalib, Jacob, Alyssa, Carly, Nicholas, Connor, Addison and Ava; great-grandchildren, Oakley and Ada; brother-in-law, George Lauderdale, Elkhorn; other relatives and many friends.
She was further preceded in death by her sons, Gary and Paul; sister, Leona Lauderdale; and brother, Harold Dorn.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St. East Troy. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
Private interment will be in Hazel Ridge Cemetery, Elkhorn.
