Frances R. Dotzenrod, 99, of Elkhorn, formerly of Sharon, died Oct. 11, 2015, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.
She was born June 9, 1916, in Madison to Martin and Louisa (Grosse) Pregler. She attended and graduated from Madison West High School in 1934 and Milwaukee Accredited Beauty School of Madison. She owned and operated the Sharon Beauty Shop in Sharon, until she married Ben Dotzenrod, of Sharon, on Sept. 20, 1943.
She is survived by her children Kay (Rick) Butke, Betty (Tony) Iselin, and Pat (Ernie) Raikowski; grandchildren David and Dan (Tanya) Butke; great grandchildren Tyler, Megan, Benjamin, and Addison; and sister, Mary Susan Spoerl.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin; her parents; her brothers Bernard, William, Jim and Martin; and sisters Margaret and Anne.
Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of mass at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Fontana. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon will take place in the afternoon.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bonnie and her staff at Sunnyside Home for their care the past three years and to Kay Tomaszewski, the Aurora At Home Hospice Team and the medical staff at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.
