Norma H. Goethal, 92, of Delavan, died Oct. 4, 2015, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.
She was born in Chicago on Jan. 6, 1923, to Carl and Louise (Kindt) Halle. She married Gordon Goethal, taught piano, was active in the Boy Scouts, and belonged to the Delavan Lake Garden Club. She also was an active member at the Northfield Community Church, Delavan United Church of Christ-Congregational and Delavan Christian Reformed Church.
She is survived by her son, Greg (Maggie) Goethal, of Delavan; grandchildren, Jay (Colleen) Goethal, of Delavan, Doug (Jessica) Goethal, of Sydney, Australia, and Halle and Sylvia (Dave) Minton, of Austin, Texas; and great grandchildren, Brendan, Kyle, Katie and Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; a son, Kurt; and her parents.
A private celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Memorials can be directed to the Delavan Lake Sailing School.
