Lois M. Scott, 77, of East Troy, died Sept. 12, 2015. She was born in Iron Mountain, Mich., on Nov. 15, 1937, to the late Albert and Esther Sturman.
Shortly after graduation, she moved to Milwaukee and worked as an operator for the telephone company, where she met her future husband, Ron Scott. They were married on May 26, 1962.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Aug. 15, 1956, and faithfully served Jehovah until her death.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was industrious and self-sacrificing, putting the needs of her family ahead of her own. Her kind and mild-tempered spirit made her a joy to be around. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Robin (Gary Dums), Elkhorn, Tracey (Dave Reich), Grafton; son Matthew, Mukwonago; grandchildren, Shelly (Jared Speciale), Tyler (Liz Dums), Linsey and Sam Dums and Logan Bleecker; great-grandchildren, Jaely and Ryah Speciale, Aubrey and Mason Dums; sister, Jean (Bill Peck), Traverse City, Mich.
A memorial gathering will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, with a memorial talk at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, S90 W27455 National Ave., Mukwonago.
