Susan Petner Durbin, 58, of East Troy, passed into eternal life, love, peace and glory on Sept. 5, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones in her home. She was born April 30, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Petner; father-in-law Lanson Durbin and mother-in-law Gloria (Molle) Durbin.
Survivors include her husband Dennis; son, Todd Lulinski and his wife Stacey and their children Hailey and Paige; daughter, Jennifer Ann Fitzwater and her son Tyler; daughter, Kelly Long and her husband Kevin Long and their children Haley, Emma, and Brock; son, Travis Ray Durbin and his daughter Luxy; mother Barbara Petner; sister, Chris Petner and her children Keltin, Maison, Kylar, Kensie and Brennen Serio; brother, Wayne and his wife Patricia Petner and their children: Wayne and Kellie Petner, Shandy Petner and his children Madyson, Gavin, Zata, Paisley and great-great-nephew Ryot, Jamie and Asa Arrey and great-nephew Ario, Dustyn Petner and great-nephews Ayden and Tavez; great-nieces Gizelle and Brynn; Lindsy Petner, great-nephew Blu and great-niece Axl; Gage Petner; Riley Petner.
She is also survived by her brother, Lance Petner and nephew Pepe; brother, James and his wife Christina and their son Justin Petner; sister, Lisa Petner; brother-in-law, Darryl Durbin; sister-in-law, Darla Durbin and her children Lance and Tracey Cromey, Jay Cromey and Todd Cromey; Aunt Marcia Blaszczyk and her husband Chris and many more aunts and uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Little Prairie Methodist Church, N9515 Palmyra Road, Eagle. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services. There will be a luncheon immediately after.
According to her family, Susan had many nicknames, which were “Honey,” “Doozie,” “Cal,” “Footloose” and many more. She was an amazing person full of love. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous smile. Sue was known for her laughter. She was a generous soul and always wanting to help others. Sue was also a talented artist. We all have something Sue painted, created or engraved. She will definitely be missed by many.
