Darrell E. Healey, 72, died Sept. 8, 2015, on his own terms. Born on Dec. 30, 1942, to Albert and Bernice (Gerber) Healey, he was a life long resident of East Troy.
He attended Troy Center grade and middle schools and East Troy High School, where he was an athlete of recognition.
He was known to say, “I’m a lover, fighter and a hunter,” which described his character.
He also served his country loyally as a member of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his siblings, Shirley Etten, Donna (Robert) Black, Richard, Kenneth and Dale (Sue) Healey; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Albert; brother-in-law, Ed Etten and sister-in-law, Kathy.
Funeral services were held; interment in Evergreen Cemetery followed.
