Francis “Fran” Brady, 81, of East Troy died Aug. 4, 2015, surrounded by his family in East Troy. He was born Nov. 1, 1933, to the late Francis and Mary Brady, in East Troy.
He met and married Jan (Karnath) Brady in East Troy. They were married for 57 wonderful years.
He was a member of the East Troy Lions Club, the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, and the Good Guys Golf Group. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan.
He was the sports writer for the East Troy Times for many years.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Kim (Steve) Peter, Micki (Mark) Saunders; son Terry; grandchildren, Angela, Jennifer (Eric), Gina, Genevieve and Lexi; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He was further preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Jerry, and daughter, Cindy.
Memorial mass will be 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.
