Gene Roland Moede, 68, of Delavan, died Aug. 1, 2015, surrounded by family at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
He was born March 2, 1947, in Milwaukee to Melvin and Eleanor (Reich) Moede. He married Kathleen Andritsch on May 28, 1972. He and his wife owned The Gin Mill and The Movie Place in Waterford for years. He also sold outdoor power equipment and cars. He belonged to the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Kathleen; a daughter, Leeann (Johnathan) Hibicke, of Waterford; a brother, Dean (Judy) Moede, of Menasha; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Melvin and Gibb.
A memorial service will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
