Diane L. Hess, 68, East Troy, died July 11, 2015, at the Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born Jan. 9, 1927, in Echo, Minn., to the late Earl and Christina Larson Taylor.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Brian) Barnes, Woodstock, Ill., Melissa Hess, Redwood Falls, Minn., and Stephanie (Tony) Erwin, Rochester, Minn.; son, Jeff (Dana) Hess, Elk Point, S.D.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Martin, Conner Martin, Kaija Hess, Nathan Barnes, Hannah Barnes and Lydia Barnes.
Services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at the Evangelical Free Church, 575 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake, Ill., with the Rev. Doug Friesen officiating. Burial will in Springfield Union Cemetery, Springfield, Wis. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday July 14, at the Steinke Funeral Home, 515 Center St., Lake Geneva.
