Helen M. Gehl, 94, of Brown Deer, died May 25, 2015 at her home. She was born on Jan. 26, 1921 in Itasca Ill, to the late Fred and Louisa Wille Engel.
She married the late Lawrence Gehl Sr. on June 28, 1941, in Roselle, Ill. They were residents of Troy Center for 46 years. Later they moved to Mukwonago and Brown Deer.
Survivors include her children, Lawrence Jr. (Sharon) Gehl, Viroqua, Allen (Mary) Gehl, Victor, Mont., and Louise Foat, Brown Deer; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Ed (Dorothy) Engel, Wartrace, Tenn., and other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
Visitation is June 27 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, with service to follow at St. Paul’s Church, 2665 North St., East Troy. Internment of cremains will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Troy Center.
