Lillian M. Boersma-Cloutier, 95, formerly of Milton and Delavan, died May 11, 2015, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn.
She was born Oct. 13, 1919, in Milton Junction to the late Edwin and Cora (Yerke) Shadel. She was married to Kenneth Boersma until his death in April 1986. She later married Clarence Cloutier. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Delavan. She loved gardening and growing flowers, making flower arrangements, bird feeding and bird watching, reading and writing poems.
Lillian is survived by her four children, Sandra L. (Forrest) Tyler, of College Park, Md., Barbara (Ron) Jepson, of Bothel, Wash., Nancy A. Boersma, of Bothel, Wash., and Marshall K. (Jean) Boersma, of Lake Delton; grandchildren, Gary (Gail) Jepson, of Tacoma, Wash., Brian (Mary) Boersma, of McFarland, and Dustin Boersma, of Los Angeles; sisters, Myrtle Doud, of the Chicago area, and Mildred Liaromatis, of Jupiter, Fla; a brother Edwin Shadel, of the Town of Richmond, and nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Kenneth Boersma and Clarence Cloutier.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at the Albrecht Funeral Homes and Cremation Services in Milton with the Rev. James Van Arsdale officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Junction Cemetery. Visitation will take place Monday at the funeral home from noon until the start of the service.
