Wayne “Buck” Brockwell, 62, of Darien, died at his home May 6, 2015.
He was born in Brinkley, Ariz., on Aug. 11, 1952, to John and Lillian (Davis) Brockwell. He was the owner and operator of Buck’s Asphalt and Sealcoating for more than 30 years. He married Sandra Hammerstad on Nov. 11, 1988.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandi; a daughter, Crystal (Dannon) James, of Germantown; two sons, Ronald Nickels, of Whitewater, and Robbie Nickels, of Edgerton; four grandchildren, Adriana and Austin Nickels, and Aidan and Ava James; two sisters, Paulette Brockwell, of Walworth, and Cindy (Bob) Lee, of Sharon; two brothers, Harrel (Karen) Tidwell, of Delavan, and Paul (Dawn) Brockwell, of Delavan; four sisters-in-law, Pat Brockwell, Marlene Brockwell, Donna Hammerstad, and Lavonne Wheeler; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, Bennie Tidwell, James Tidwell, William Brockwell, Jerry Brockwell and Lonnie Brockwell.
Memorial services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
