Neal Robertson, of Troy, died May 6, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 14, 1951 in California, to Hugo and Peggy Robertson.
He was a graduate of East Troy High School.
He married Diane (nee Blondell) on Pleasant Lake, Elkhorn, on Sept 9, 1984.
He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War.
He had a talent for woodworking and was known to be a fantastic artist, including painting, drawing and carving. He was a proud member of the National Rifle Association and will be largely remembered as a good and loving husband.
Survivors include his wife; brother and sister, Craig (Patti) and Debbie (Frank) Dougherty; brothers and sisters in law, Pete (Linda) Beierle and Phil (Judy) Walbrandt; father in law, Matthew Blondell; nieces and nephews, Mike (Vicki), Melissa (Joe), Jenni (Kelly), Lori (Cory), Brian (Amy) and Eric; grandnieces and grandnephews, Lindsey, Kyle, Ryan, Kaylan, Vivien and Logan; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurse Deb and Seasons Hospice for their loving care and support. Neal’s wish for his family and friends is to celebrate his life the their own unique and special way.
