HARLAN M. ARMSON

Harlan M. Armson, 91, of Delavan, passed away on April 7, 2015, at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.

He was born in Big Spring, on March 29, 1924, to Merle and Alma Neita (Learmonth) Armson. He was united in marriage to Johanna Delmore on Sept. 1, 1948, in Janesville. She passed away on March 13, 2012. He started his career working for the Wisconsin Department of Soil Conservation. He then worked for many years as an independent insurance salesman. He loved bowling and sponsored a team at Delavan Lanes for many years and also enjoyed following the grandkids at their sporting events and theatrical productions. He was a longtime member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and usually ushered at the 7:30 Mass.

He is survived by his daughter, Kerry (Jeff) Butitta, of Delavan; two grandsons, Hank and Vince; a sister, Mary Lou Bacon, of Branson, Mo; a brother, Paul Armson, of Lewiston Township; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Johanna; his parents; two brothers, Blake and Bill; and a sister, Theo.

Funeral Mass and visitation were Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan.

Burial was at Big Spring Cemetery near Wisconsin Dells. Memorials can be directed to St. Andrew Catholic Church.
