John R. Dravus, 78, of Janesville, died on March 31, 2015, at home.
He was born in Illinois on May 19, 1936, the son of John and Jean (Williams) Dravus. He served in the National Guard. He had been employed by Enright Farm Supply and Nelson Bus Company. He had been a volunteer for the Fire Department in Whitewater for many years. He enjoyed sports, fishing, NASCAR, hunting, and playing cards.
He is survived by his four children, John Dravus, Jr., of Sullivan, Paul Dravus, of Johnson Creek, Julie Dravus, and Michael (Angela) Dravus, both of Janesville; five grandchildren, Andrew, Danielle, Samantha, Michael, Jr., and Kristin; great grandchild, Mackenzie; brother, Bill (Char) Dravus; sister, Patty Dravus; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Austin and JR, III; and two sisters, Betty Bielanski and Joan.
