Violet R. Davis, formerly of Sharon, died March 30, 2015, at RidgeStone Village in Delavan.
She was born July 24, 1918, in LeRoy Township, Ill., to Laurance and Pearl Goodall. She married Harold Davis on Jan. 20, 1937, in Illinois.
She is survived by her children, Laurance (Genevieve) Davis, of Sharon, and Laurene (Jerry) Taylor, of Mukwonago; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Cryie) Davis, Gary (Rhonda) Davis, Rodney (Theresa) Davis, Christopher Taylor, and Brian (Jennifer) Taylor; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents; and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Toynton’s Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., Walworth. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Sharon Fire and Rescue.
