Jerry W. Coon, 52, of Walworth, passed away unexpectedly at his home in the Town of Walworth on March 13, 2015.
He was born Sept. 21, 1962, in Harvard, Ill., the son of Charles E. and Marlene (Ulrich) Coon. He was married to Lynn Lehman on Nov. 4, 1983, at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Walworth. He was a member of the same church. Jerry was employed in the trucking industry all his life beginning with Huff Livestock and most recently with TruckSERV of Janesville. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and garden, cooking, hunting, fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lynn; daughter, Jennifer; brother, Charles L. (Connie) Coon; and a special aunt, Jeanette Ulrich Huff Baumgartner; with whom he lived in his earlier years. He is also survived by a nephew, Christopher Coon; a niece, Kelsey Coon; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Walworth with the Rev. Roger Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to the time of service.
