Fabian S. Ruszkiewicz, 82, of East Troy, died Jan. 25, 2015, surrounded by his family.
He was an employee of Nordberg for 40 years and Amato Ford for 14 years. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family, playing cards, watching the Packers and Brewers. Fabian was severely burned May 4, 2014, and spent five months at the St. Mary’s Burn Center, plus months of rehab.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara (nee Pelczynski); children, Fred (Renee), Tim (Jennifer), Matthew (Priscilla), Bonnie (Rick), Patrick (fiancée Marie), Josh and Gregory (Samantha); grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew), Amy “The Other One,” Angel, Morgan, Dalton, Heather, Michael, Emily, Greg “G.G,” Jayla and Remi; special friend, Randy Jay; and 44 foster children; brother, Frank; and other relatives and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Saturday, Jan. 31, at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 305 S. First St., Waterford. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to Dr. Neil Rennick and his staff, the nurses at St. Mary’s and Dr. Linn.
