Sandra Soderberg, 75, of East Troy, died Dec. 29, 2014. She was born March 8, 1939, to Ray and Irene Rings, in Illinois.
She attended Harvard High School in Illinois.
She married her late husband Earl on Dec. 8, 1964, in Chicago, and soon after made East Troy her home. He preceded her in death in 2008.
She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in East Troy, East Troy Historical Society, East Troy Lioness Club and helped at the local food pantry.
She was an avid gardener, primarily “weed picking,” and liked reading, word searches and the morning coffee group at the Red Door.
Her family and friends were most dear to her; she especially loved the Friday fish frys and the weekly football game-day get togethers.
She is survived by her sons, Earl (Mary), Mark (Tracy) and Mike; grand children, Ethan, Shelby, Zach, Tyler and Emma; sister, Meradith Rypstat; brother, and Tom (Arlene). Other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at St. James United Methodist Church, 2945 W. Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, East Troy, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
