Ingrid K. Larson, 77, died at Williams Bay Care Center on Dec. 6, 2014.
She was born on Nov. 25, 1937, in Stuttgart, Germany, to the late Herbert and Rose Zanke. Ingrid moved to the United Sates when she was in her 20s and lived in the Walworth County area for about 50 years. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, and was involved in organizations such as the Ice Age Trail, Alcoholics Anonymous, The Reads Program and the Telecare program.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. She is survived by her two children, Kim Goff (Scott Ennis) and Eric (Kathy) Larson; three grandchildren, Breanna (Jeramiah) Johnson, Alissa (Kurt) Jennison, and Amanda Larson-Marshall (Jason); seven great grandchildren, Kain, Lacey, and Kru Jennison, Marleigh Johnson, Marin, Mabel and Molly Marshall; three step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and one brother, Erik (Eva) Zanke.
A family-run visitation will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests guests make donations in her name to the Lakeland Animal Shelter, the Ice Age Trail, or bring cat food or bottles of bleach to the visitation to be donated to the animal shelter. An online guest registry can be found at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
