Kory Walsh, 37, of Park City, Utah, took his last ride on Nov. 21, 2014. He passed away from injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Salt Lake City.
Kory was born in Beloit on June 25, 1977. He is survived by his mother, Ida, and father, David Walsh, of Clinton; his twin sister, Kelley Walsh, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his older brother D.J. Walsh and wife, Rachel, of Stuttgart, Germany; his niece Kate; and three nephews Andrew, Luke and Matthew. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Maynard and Marian Peters, of Clinton, and his grandmother Virginia Delaney, of Allens Grove.
Kory grew up in Delavan. He studied at the University of Wisconsin and entered the vacation sales industry. His sales career allowed him to work in Wisconsin, Missouri, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Utah. He was always passionate to return to Park City, his true home.
Kory was a beacon of happiness to family and friends alike. His warm heart, wide smile and infectious laugh reigned throughout his life. He loved the outdoors and was in his true element cruising the countryside on his motorcycle.
Kory’s spirit will live on through the multiple beneficiaries of his decision to be an organ donor.
A celebration of Kory’s life will take place at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. David Meding officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Monroe Funeral Home is assisting the family.
