Albert “Teddy Bear” W. Healey Jr., 79, died Dec. 1, 2014. He was born Nov. 13, 1935, in Troy, to the late Bernice (Gerber) and Albert Healey Sr.
He attended school in East Troy and has been a life long member of the East Troy area.
He was a longtime over the road truck driver, making up for his absence on the weekends with his kids by snowmobiling, dirt biking or perhaps just with a beer in his hand enjoying everyone’s company and sharing a story.
He liked fast cars, snowmobile trips with his trucking buddies, and playing hardball in his younger years.
He also served his community as a past member of the Troy Center Fire Department.
Survivors include his children, Jodie (Robert) Willams, Nevada, Jean (Ed) Koch, Burlington, John (Denise), Honey Creek and Jason (Erin), East Troy; grandchildren, Katie Koch, Heather Healey, Abby, Dianne and Jeffrey Healey; siblings, Shirley, Donna, Darrel, Rick, Kenny and Dale.
He was further preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey, and Uncle Dean.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday Dec. 8, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
