Arnold “Arnie” Baker Jr., 75, passed away Oct. 31, 2014, at the Williams Bay Care Center.
He is survived by his sister Ardeane (Pete) Broers, of Ripon, Calif.; children Shelly (Kevin), Laura (Mike), Keri (Brandon), Jeni (Chris) and Tim (Katie); his grandchildren Danielle (Chris), Josh, Cody, Casey, Shelby, Katie, Kory, Timmy, Miles, Teddy, Malcolm and Molly; his great grandchildren Canden and Rylee; and many nieces and nephews. Arnie is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Margaret.
Per Arnie’s wishes, the family will have an open house-luncheon to “remember the good times” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall of Delavan Christian Reformed Church, 850 Oak St.
A private burial service was held at Roselawn Memory Gardens on Nov. 3 and was officiated by Chaplain Kelly Vanderstappen. Monroe Funeral Home assisted the family.
The family would like to recognize Jennifer, who was Arnie’s favorite hospice nurse, as well as his entire Hospice Advantage team.
A big thank-you to the wonderful staff at Williams Bay Care Center who took care of Arnie.
