Robert Thomas Slavin, 86, of Delavan, died Nov. 2, 2014, at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan.
He was born in Walworth on Dec. 30, 1928, to George and Catherine (Gleason) Slavin. He earned a master’s degree from Northern Illinois University and served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a teacher in the Aurora, Ill., school system and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by a sister, Isabel Donahue, of Janesville; six nephews; and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary and Lucille; and a brother, Thomas.
Funeral Services were Thursday at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.
