Diane M. Ostrander, 64, of Delavan, passed away Oct. 21, 2014, at Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center.
Diane was born in Stanley, a daughter of Lavern and Dorothy Koch. She graduated from Wilmot High School in 1968. In 1969 she graduated from Racine Accredited Schools of Beauty Culture. She went on to school at Gateway Technical College and graduated as a word processing specialist in 1990. She retired from the state Department of Corrections in 2012 as an office operational assistant.
Diane was a member of the Rock of Jesus Church in Elkhorn. She cared for the children in the nursery. She loved to bake, make crafts, garden and can. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Bryan Pawlowski and Joleen (Kevin) Austin and their father John Pawlowski, Jesse (Lisa) Ostrander and Sarah Ostrander and their father John Ostrander; nine grandchildren, Zachary, Jesse, Ariel, Knick, Diana, Isabell, Breanna, Isaiah and Lilly; her father, Lavern; five sisters; three brothers; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Rock of Jesus Church, 101 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, with the Rev. Jeff Contreras officiating. Visitation will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. before the service.
Donated flowers should be delivered to the church between 2 and 4 p.m. Friday.
