Lucille “Lu” M. Moorman, 88, of Delavan, died Oct. 19, 2014, at her home in Delavan.
She was born in Gilman on Nov. 11, 1925, to Henry and Ida (Hanes) Newman. She married Jack Moorman in Racine on July 19, 1948. She was the former co-owner of LuMarge Fashion in Walworth. She enjoyed arts and crafts, needlework, baking and reading.
She is survived by her three children, Lynn (Bob) Koehl, of Delavan, Jeanne (Loy Shick) Moorman, of Duluth, Ga., and Cindy (Pete) Kobylski, of Burlington; and three grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Schryer, of Burlington, Jenni Kobylski, of Burlington, and Tiffany Shick, of Duluth, Ga. Lu is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and her siblings, Betty, Lorraine, Bob, Earl and Don.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. Monroe Funeral Home is assisting the family.
