Kira Faith Spedale passed away on Oct. 4, 2014, at the precious age of 11, while surrounded by her loving family in the tranquility of her own home.
She was the loving daughter of Joseph and Lisa, (nee Tessem), Spedale; fond granddaughter of Giuseppa and the late Salvatore Spedale and Christian and Sandra Tessem; dear sister of Mia, Bianca and Tessa; dear niece of Christian and Cathy Tessem, Michael Tessem, Francesca and Joseph Romano, Casimiro and Rosy Spedale; a loving cousin to many; and a special and dear friend to all.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Visitation Church, 779 S York Road, Elmhurst Ill. Funeral will be Wednesday. Family and friends are to begin gathering at 10:15 a.m. at Visitation Church, 779 S York Road, Elmhurst Ill., for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 10:45 a.m. Entombment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Garden Mausoleum, Hillside Ill.
Due to limited space at the church for the visitation, the family has requested flowers be omitted and donations made to either Visitation Church or The Hospital of Padre Pio in San Giovanni, Rotondo, Italy in Kira Spedale’s name.
