Lorraine I. Powell, 87, of Delavan, passed away on Sept. 27, 2014 at her home in Delavan.
She was born in Antigo on Aug. 2, 1927, to Harry and Ellen (Merrill) Page. Lorraine was united in marriage to Ervin Powell on March 31, 1950, in Antigo. Ervin passed away on March 11, 1968. Lorraine enjoyed crocheting, gardening, playing Bingo and dancing. She especially loved spending time with her family and holding her great-grand babies.
Lorraine is survived by her three children, Dale Powell, of Stem, N.C., Judy (John) Himsl, of Delavan, and Kathy (Rick) Pavlik, of Stevens Point; nine grandsons, Matthew VanDeBogert, Richard (Mary) Powell, Jeremy (Trinh) VanDeBogert, Aaron (Sarah) VanDeBogert, Andy (Peggy) Pavlik, Nathan (Wendy) Powell, Josh Pavlik, Clifton (Sheila) Powell and Ben (Samantha) Pavlik; 19 great grandchildren; four step grandchildren, Gretchen (Caton) Himsl-Fenz, Kristen (Blake) Himsl-Hunter, Sean (Valerie) Himsl, and Jessica Westphal; a sister, Sandy St. Clair, of Delavan; and a brother, William Page, of Freeholt, N.J. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin; a son, Dennis; her parents; a brother, Steve; and two sisters, Margaret and Jane.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan with Rev. Matthew VanDeBogert officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday with the funeral service immediately following at the funeral home. Graveside Services will take place at Pearson Cemetery in Ainsworth Township at 1 p.m. on Oct. 2.
