Donna M. Van De Bogert, 85, of Delavan, passed away on Sept. 11, 2014, at her home in Delavan. She was born on Aug. 17, 1929, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of George and Lillian (Gebhardt) Bell.
Donna graduated from P. J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point in 1947. On Aug. 27, 1949, Donna was united in marriage to Philip Van De Bogert in Stevens Point. They celebrated the 65th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
She spent her working career at Hardware Mutual Insurance Co. in Stevens Point, then Lake Lawn Lodge and O’Donnell’s Pharmacy in Delavan. Donna loved jigsaw puzzles, Potawatomi Casino, family functions and traveling.
Donna is survived by her husband, Philip Van De Bogert; two daughters, Diane (Patrick Wood) and Loreen; five grandchildren, Ryan and Karl Mueller and Elizabeth, Emily and Michael Wood; and other family and friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents; brother, Bobbie; and two sisters, Bonnie and May.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Lake Geneva VNA Hospice.
